Forget the Twister or the classic Fab; LA-POP a brand-new speciality gelato lolly and coffee bar is now open in Edgbaston Village.
Located on Islington Row, by Five Ways station, LA-POP will be encouraging local people and families to head down to its new gelato popsicle and coffee bar to treat themselves to an ice cream experience like no other.
Ice cream dessert delight
The family-run business offers customers a choice of 12 ice cream based popsicle flavours, which can be personalised with one of six different dipping chocolates, and finally coated with one of nine different toppings.
Even better, the parlour also offers freshly-ground coffee and Kanuka tea.
A new concept
Inspired by a concept popular in the USA and Dubai, LA-POP brings a new approach to the UK, turning its customers into gelato popsicle artists.
With over 700 different combinations on offer, customers designing their ice cream lolly in store are spoilt for choice.
Committed to authenticity, LA-POP freshy makes all the ice cream on site, using the finest ingredients which includes organic milk sourced from a local farm, using equipment that has been custom-made from Italy.
Located at 38 Islington Row Middleway, Edgbaston B15 1LD, LA-POP offers a real treat in Edgbaston Village.
It is open until 10pm most days.

SAVE THE DATE – Christmas Light Switch On
Our Edgbaston Village Christmas Lights Switch on takes place outside the front of St George Church, Edgbaston, on Friday 22 November from 4pm until 7pm, with the Santa Claus switching the lights on at 6pm.
The countdown will be led by Free Radio DJ, John Dalziel (known as JD). The Miss Fortunes will be singing and dancing to help the evening go with a swing, along with performances from Frozen inspired characters, as well as a dance performance from Elmhurst Ballet School.
It is your chance to enjoy gastro street food along with a range of traditional children’s rides and meet some real life reindeer. So, don’t forget to save the date!
