Blue Piano, in the heart of Edgbaston Village at 24-26 Harborne Road in a beautiful Edwardian building, has a whole host of things going on to tantalise your taste buds and ears.
A family run and independent guesthouse, restaurant and unique venue, it has become a destination for food and music lovers of Birmingham with its superb South-East Asian menu and eclectic programme of live music.
The restaurant
The Blue Piano restaurant serves traditional Singaporean, Malaysi Clickan and Cambodian cuisine, created using the finest South-East Asian ingredients and cooking styles. Dishes include popular Malay choices such as king prawns with sambal chilli plus The Blue Piano’s signature dish, savoury Singapore carrot cake, made from a secret recipe passed on to owner Siew Kuan by her sister.
A wide selection of vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and halal dishes are available from the main menu. Furthermore, Monday to Friday they offer a great value lunchtime menu of a starter and main for only £11.50. Find out more here
The rooms
The Blue Piano has ten individually designed en-suite bedrooms featuring all the modern amenities including flat screen TV, hairdryer, laptop safe, telephone, clock radio, iPod docking station and mini bar. In addition, guests can enjoy a complimentary Continental/Chinese Congee breakfast each morning, free wifi, use of nearby gym Anytime Fitness plus on-site parking on request.
Live music
Blue Piano is a renowned jazz and blues live music venue. It has a whole host and eclectic programme of live music on every week, most of the performances are free to attend.

The garden
The stunning courtyard garden is the perfect spot to relax with a drink or bite to eat during sunny weather with plenty of outdoor seating and an abundance of beautiful plants and flowers. During the summer, live music events take place in the garden and the outdoor cocktail bar is open for business.
Weddings and private functions
An ideal venue for private parties, events and weddings, The Blue Piano has a number of private dining areas available for those who would like a little more privacy and can also be hired exclusively for up to 200 guests.
Bespoke sit down or buffet menus can be created to suit the style of any event and up to 70 guests can be accommodated for a sit down meal; menus start from as little as £15 per head.
For corporate clients, The Blue Piano can also host business meetings, working lunches, training days, presentations and networking events.
The Blue Piano is located at 24-26 Harborne Road, there is a pay and display car parking to the rear of the building in addition to free on-street car parking.
