Edgbaston Christmas Lights 2018

Get into the festive spirit at the Edgbaston Village Christmas lights switch on – come and join in the fun.

The event takes place at the front of St George’s Church and along Highfield Road on Friday 23 November, from 4pm to 7pm. Light switch on at 6pm.

What is happening

Santa will be dropping by on his sleigh to hand out chocolate treats to the children, and there will be a chance to meet Mrs Claus and an Elf, in addition to feed two of his reindeer.

The countdown will be led by Free Radio DJ, John Dalziel (known as JD), with the help of Santa Claus and some special guests from St George’s Primary School, who will also be spreading festive cheer with a performance of Christmas carols. Plus, The Miss Fortunes will be singing and dancing to help the evening go with a swing, along with a dance performance from Elmhurst Ballet School and The Theatre Workshop, with of course the light switch on at 6pm!
