Edgbaston Village Christmas Lights was a great success

Calthorpe Estates hosted a fun filled community event to mark the Edgbaston Christmas Lights Switch On. The event was held at the front of the beautiful St George’s Church and along Highfield Road on Friday 24th November 2017.

There was a whole host of things going on including a very special visit from Santa Claus himself and his reindeers. If was not enough to entertain, ahead of the big switch on there was food and drink from the ‘Edgbaston Experience’ pop-ups, entertainment from the Miss Fortunes, Elmhurst Ballet School giving a dance performance, and St George’s and Hallfield School Choirs singing, as well as Katy Poulston from Capital Radio hosting the event.
