Inspired by a concept popular in the USA and Dubai, LA-POP brings a new approach to the UK, turning its customers into gelato popsicle artists. With over 700 different combinations on offer, customers designing their ice cream lolly in store will be spoilt for choice.

Abdul Kaium, chef and owner of LA-POP, said: “As a nation, we’re tired of having the same choices when it comes to ice lollies, which is how our concept was created. Here at LA-POP, our customers can try different flavour combinations each time they visit, whether eating in or taking away, meaning every ice cream experience will be different! Life’s too short for boring ice cream – it should be a delight every time.”

Located on Islington Row, LA-POP is situated alongside other independent Edgbaston favourites including Laghi’s Deli, June Peony Bridal Couture and Eye Opticians. Edgbaston Village, on the Calthorpe Estate, is fast becoming a thriving destination of niche shops, award-winning bars and restaurants and, adding to the growing portfolio, LA-POP’s new venture adds yet another reason to visit the area.

Emma Davenport, Sales & Marketing Executive at Calthorpe Estates, added: “We are delighted to welcome Abdul and the LA-POP team to Edgbaston Village. The Village is a vibrant residential, commercial and leisure area and we’re thrilled to be home to this exciting and delicious new gelato concept.
