New boutique hotel rooms in Edgbaston Village

The Edgbaston is delighted to announce the official opening of their new boutique bedrooms following a multi-million pound investment, bringing the total number of bedrooms now to 20.

The new bedrooms, situated on the Calthorpe Estate in the heart of Edgbaston Village, just minutes away from the centre of Birmingham, are very spacious, featuring large sash windows and high ceilings. They are opulent in design and retain much of the original architecture and features, which blend seamlessly with the original bedrooms, whilst continuing to follow an Art Deco theme. The bedrooms, beautifully appointed, with luxurious linens, free standing roll top baths, air conditioning, Elemis products and Nespresso machines are a welcome addition to Edgbaston. All guests staying overnight benefit from free parking and a delicious complimentary Continental Breakfast with all breads and pastries now being baked in house.

Since opening four and a half years ago, the team has grown considerably and have one of most recognised cocktail bars in the country and are renowned for their Afternoon Tea nationally. The hotel has won numerous awards and is currently a finalist ‘in the top three’ for Hotel Bar Of The Year with CLASS Bar Awards, recognising the bars and bartenders that set the standard for hospitality and innovation across the UK, along with Dandelyan and The American Bar, at The Savoy. A new development kitchen has also opened as part of the expansion, with the pastry team fully focused in creating a new selection of freshly baked breads and pastries to further enhance the Breakfast and Afternoon Tea offering. A new ground-breaking Cocktail Menu concept that embraces the very latest in digital technology will also be launching next month.
