Public Realm Works to enhance The Village

Works have just started to enhance pedestrian access, improve the streetscape and car parking facilities within The Village.

The works are to take place during 2015, across The Village as follows:

SOUTH CAR PARK

The first phase of the transformation of The Village will start in the summer and will see the public pay and display South car park closed whilst the build works programme is underway at Mander Portman Woodward college. Upon completion of the build works, the pay and display car park will be resurfaced.

NORTH CAR PARK

During the summer the North car park resurfacing works will commence and when completed pedestrian access, in addition to car parking facilities will be improved.

GREENFIELD CRESCENT WORKS

AMEY as part of a joint partnership with Calthorpe Estates, late 2015, will be commencing the complete overhaul and refurbishment of Greenfield Crescent. This will include high quality granite set finishes and a section of shared surface, all-in-all creating an impressive new look for the Crescent and one which will enhance pedestrian access.

There will be periods during the Crescent and car parking works when the pay and display car parks will be closed and access along Greenfield Crescent may be restricted to one lane.
