Spoilt for choice
The Marriott, has a new head chef. Chef Shankar Rangaswamy has joined the team and is already making his mark on the hotel’s menus. Originally from Chennai, South India, he has moved from the flagship Marriott in Grosvenor Square, London to bring his distinctive style and passion for food to the Birmingham hotel’s kitchen.
Elsewhere, at The Edgbaston, Robert Wood the award winning bartender, has been making a stir with yet another award for his delectable cocktails. And, as The Edgbaston at 18 Highfield Road continues to make a name for itself, it is also gearing up for the Christmas season by installing a kitchen and will shortly offer a delicious range of food – as if we needed any more reason to linger or stay in those sumptuous surroundings!
